It's undeniable: families are paying far more to put food on their tables than they were a few short years ago. Due to inflation that soared under the Biden-Harris administration, hard-working families in Southern Ohio are pinching pennies in an economy that already challenges how far their dollars go. Congress needs to reign in wasteful government spending and allocate taxpayer dollars responsibly.

I look forward to supporting legislation in Congress that prioritizes the American worker, their family, and their pocketbook. American families work hard every day and they need Congress to do the same: to balance a budget, reign in our soaring national debt, and spend taxpayer dollars effectively. This is key to ensuring a future for our country that is secure, prosperous, and puts America first.

To bring back a booming economy, Congress needs to cut taxes for hardworking American families and combat inflation. Congress also must prioritize the creation of well-paying American jobs by bringing back American industry to our own soil. This will strengthen our economy and decrease our Nation's reliance on adversaries like China.

Congress needs to unleash American energy to further invigorate our economy by utilizing an all of the above approach, including fossil fuel production and investing in nuclear energy. This will not only invigorate our economy but help combat the rising costs that have come with inflation.
