WASHINGTON, D.C. – Representatives Dave Taylor (OH-02), Troy Balderson (OH-12), and Mike Carey (OH-15) introduced a resolution on March 20, 2026, honoring the lives, service, and sacrifice of six U.S. servicemembers who were killed on March 12. These crewmembers lost their lives during an air refueling mission over western Iraq while supporting U.S. efforts in Operation Epic Fury, three of whom had been stationed at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base in Columbus, Ohio.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) today led his colleagues in introducing the SNAP Fraud Reporting Act, which would require states to submit data on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) fraud that occurred in the past five fiscal years to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and require each state to provide SNAP fraud data going forward.

This bill will hold illegal aliens accountable for their actions by making the act of defrauding the United States government or stealing benefits intended for U.S. taxpayers a deportable offense, and making illegal aliens who commit or admit to committing this crime ineligible to re-enter the U.S.

Held each spring, the competition provides high school students from across the nation the opportunity to represent their Congressional District. One winner from each district will earn a trip to Washington, D.C., and have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
