WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) led the majority of the Ohio delegation in a bipartisan, bicameral letter to Secretary Duffy of the Department of Transportation supporting a feasibility study of an Interstate 73 (I-73) corridor spanning from Toledo to Chesapeake, Ohio. This interstate would promote connectivity, safety, and economic growth throughout Ohio’s southern region.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02), Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (WY-AL), and Congressman Greg Steube (FL-17) today introduced the Commercial Motor Vehicle English Proficiency Act, which would require all testing required to earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to be conducted in English. This bill is the House Companion bill to S. 2114, which was introduced in the Senate by Senators Roger Marshall (R-KS), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), and John Barrasso (R-WY) on June 18, 2025.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) today voted in support of releasing the entirety of the Epstein files through H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This bill passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 427-1.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) voted this evening to reopen the federal government and end the 43-day federal government shutdown, which was the longest in American history. This vote on the Continuing Resolution, H.R. 5371, passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 222-209 following its Senate passage on November 10th by a vote of 60-40.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Dave Taylor (OH-02) today applauded the introduction of a Senate companion bill for H.R. 1958, his Deporting Fraudsters Act, by Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), John Cornyn (R-TX), and Mike Lee (R-UT). This bill would make defrauding the United States or unlawfully obtaining benefits intended for U.S. taxpayers deportable offenses and grounds for inadmissibility under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
